The works under contract was for the Eastward Senior Citizens Hall Refurbishment, Brook Street Coogee.
This scope of works involved the partial removal of the existing exterior and interior walls, concrete ramp and landing, tree, windows, doors, upper and lower sections of the existing roof structure, remove all existing timber flooring and fencing. Removal of male and female toilet finishes and fixtures, internal joinery items and the like.
The excavation scope of works involved the excavation of the footings to support the new walls, ramps and retaining walls to the terrace as per Engineers detail.
Construction of new metal roof and associated timber framing, external fibre cement, render and brick cladding. The construction of a new ramp, metal handrails, stairs, concrete terrace, hard & soft landscaping and BBQ facility. New male, female and accessible toilet areas which includes new partitions, finishes and fixtures. Supply and install new windows, roller blinds, pelmets, louvers, doors, glass sliding doors, internal plasterboard linings, acoustic plasterboard ceiling, exterior and interior painting, timber floors, underfloor rainwater tanks and joinery items as per details. In addition, works include new hydraulic, electrical and mechanical services.
