Refurbishment of existing Admin Building for Sydney Catholic Schools

The works under contract was for the refurbishment of existing admin building at St Michaels Primary School, Lane Cove.

The demolition scope included the removal of existing ceilings, floor finishes, joinery items and partition walls. The existing bathrooms were entirely stripped out to allow for renovations.

The refurbishment works included the erection of new plasterboard partition walls using a light weight steel stud system, suspended acoustic ceiling system, timber framed doors and cavity sliding doors. A new aluminum framed door was installed to the entrance. Floors were installed with Interface carpet tiles and vinyl coverings. New joinery items were manufactured and installed into the new rooms.

The external works consisted of excavation and removal of existing garden from site to allow for the installation of a new concrete access ramp. The ramp was fitted with stainless steel handrails, tactiles and drain grates.
