$7.1 Million worth of school projects

Tharawal Public School

New Homebase/SPR, Building Extension for Storage Block, New OLA, COLA Extension, Covered Walkways and Refurbishment of Hall, Canteen and Toilets – Project Value $1,051,000

Tharawal Public School was completed by Momentum Built P/L under the BER Program in June 2010.

The project consisted of the construction of a new Homebase / SPR building, extension of existing building for storage block, New Outdoor Learning Area, New Covered Walkways, Extension of existing COLA and the refurbishment of hall, canteen and toilets including two disabled toilets

The construction of Homebase / SPR building was slab on ground, structural steel structure with combination of face brick and metal cladding externally. Finishes and services were typical to the BER Program.

The project was delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish. Our Managing Director Paul Boyd managed this project to completion in June 2010.

 Illawong Public School

New Homebase and Carpark plus the Refurbishment of Canteen and PAA’s
Project Value $1,450,000

Stage 1 of Illawong Public School was completed by Momentum Built P/L under the BER Program in April 2010 consisted of the new staff car park. Works included all demolition, civil, stormwater, electrical, fencing and landscaping works associated with carpark.

Stage 2 and 3 of the project is in construction and consists of the construction of a new double Homebase plus the Refurbishment of existing Canteen and PAA rooms. Stage 2 Refurbishment Works were completed in July 2010. Stage 3 New Homebase was completed in December 2010.

All stages were delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish commended by the Department of Education.

Jannali Public School

New OLA and Refurbishment of Canteen and Homebases / PAA’s
Project Value $750,000

Jannali Public School was completed under the BER Program in April 2010. The project consisted of the construction of a new OLA and the refurbishment of canteen and homebases/PAA rooms.

The project was delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish.

Our Project Manager Edward Opperman managed this project to completion in April 2010.

Yarrawarrah Public School

New Library Canteen & COLA, Covered Walkways and the Refurbishment of all existing Homebases and the Extension of Existing COLA – Project Value $1,590,000

Yarrawarrah Public School was completed in October 2010 over 4 stages by Momentum Built P/L under the BER Program.

The project consisted of the construction of new Library Canteen & COLA, Covered Walkways and the Refurbishment of all existing Homebases, SPR & Practical Activities Buildings (4 no) and the Extension of Existing COLA.

Our Project Manager Edward Opperman managed this project to completion in October 2010 and received commending review by DET that is was one of the higher quality BER Projects they had been associated with.

The project was delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish.

Woronora River Public School

New Double Storey Homebase – Project Value $1,110,000

Woronora River Public School was completed in November 2010 by Momentum Built P/L under the BER Program.

The project consisted of the construction of new 2 storey building consisting of double homebase, library, canteen & COLA.

Our Project Manager Edward Opperman managed this project to completion in November 2010.

The project was delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish.

Cronulla Public School

New Canteen & COLA – Project Value $1,125,000

Cronulla Public School was completed in Novermber 2010 by Momentum Built P/L under the BER Program.

The project consisted of the construction of a new Canteen & COLA which included the removal of significant asbestos contaminated fill.

Our Managing Director Paul Boyd managed this project to completion in November 2010 and received commending review by DET that is was one of the higher quality BER Projects they had inspected.

The project was delivered on time, to project cost and to a high quality of finish.
