The works consisted of the partial demolition of existing structure, followed by the extension and refurbishment of the Community Centre.
Works involved the removal of the existing roof, brick veneer walls and all existing internal fit out within the nominated space, some existing external pathways, driveways and landscaping.
The scope of works for the main construction phase included ground works, concrete piles, concrete slab on ground, termite control, structural steel with external FC & brick cladding, feature structural steel façade with metal mesh cladding, metal roof sheeting including roof safety access and roof plumbing, new aluminium windows, doors, roller door and all associated services works including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, MATV and security works.
Internally the project consisted of office space, new toilets and amenities, new kitchens and the refurbishment of existing hall and storage spaces. Finishing trades include tiling, timber flooring, resilient vinyl, carpet, render and painting, blinds, joinery, signage workstations and furniture.
External work included new hard and soft landscaping and shade sails.
