Construction of a New Community Centre for Hornsby Shire Council

The works under this contract involved the construction of a new community facility, playground and park for Hornsby Shire Council.

The scope of work included, but not limited to the following;

Demolition: This scope of works involves the demolition of existing house, community hall, identified asbestos elements, carpark, netball court, playground, tress and hardstands.

Excavation: The excavation scope of works involves the excavation of the bored piers and footings for the new community centre building, as well as bulk and detail excavation to the new carpark and OSD tank.

Construction: Construction of single storey community centre consisting of a concrete footings and slab, structural steel frame, stud walls, services, claddings and finishes as specified. New asphalt carpark and external works including hardstands, paving, landscaping and playground equipment.

This project was completed in January 2020.
